5. 내 용 :
The interaction and protection of materials and spacecraft structures from space environments, in order to meet the contemporary demands for long-term sofisticated space missions, is still a significant part of space research and spaceflight safety assurance policy. As an international effort by NASA and 13 space agencies, a document was released on exploration strategy framework on May 31, 2007 entitled "The global exploration strategy: the framework for coordination", that reflects a shared vision of space exploration focused on Solar system destinations where humans may someday live and work. Before the flights will resume to the Moon, Mars and other planetary bodies, a good, reliable knowledge of the environmental conditions that the spacecraft is going to be exposed to in flights, at the landing, and at planetary operation should be developed. The ability to imitate them on the ground in order to study the interaction with space materials and structures and to perform accelerated testing is critically important for space mission’s safety and in order to be able to effectively protect humans, spacecraft systems, and the scientific equipment.
