1. 제 목
A Prospect of Micro Gas Turbine-Solid Oxide Fuel Cell
Hybrid System for Distributed Power
2. 연 사 : Dr. Shinji Kimijima
3. 일 시 : 2004년 4월 23일 (금) 16:00 - 17:00
4. 장 소 : 서울대 신공학관(301동) 117호
5. 요 약 :
Small distributed power generation systems are currently attracting much attentions because of their high energy utilization efficiency. For them, compact and high performance energy conversion devices such as micro gas turbines (MGT) and small fuel cells (FC) have recently been developed. They offer higher electric power conversion efficiency than traditional devices, but their hybrids, e.g., MGT combined with solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), are expected to achieve even higher efficiency. Until now, we have investigated the effects of cycle design parameters on the performance and feasibility of a 30kW MGT-SOFC hybrid system for apartments and small businesses. Therefore, general design strategy and part-load performance have been found. In this seminar, a prospect of small distributed energy systems based on MGTs and SOFCs will be presented. In addition, recent research topics regarding hybrid systems at Shibaura institute of technology will be reported.
