1. 제 목 : Part1: Powertrain NVH Development in Automotive Industry, and
Part2: Drivetrain Torsional and Bending Vibration for a RWD Vehicle Interior
Noise Development.
2. 연 사 : In-Soo Suh, Ph.D.
3. 일 시 : 2003년 6월 13일 (금) 오후 4시 30분
4. 장 소 : 301동 117호
5. 요 약 :
The customer's expectation for the improved vehicle performance has been increasing, as the market has become more competitive. One of the functional requirements for the vehicle development would be the overall satisfactory sound quality of the car, in addition to the safety, fuel economy, and handling & derivability requirements. Among the overall vehicle NVH performance measures, the powertrain-induced noise, vibration and harshness is a significant factor for the customers' satisfaction.
A powertrain in a vehicle describes a base engine, powertrain adaptation
components, transmission, drivetrain, and half shafts to the tires. Under the limited resources during a vehicle development phase, such as specified program timing, light weight, better driving performance, and competitive cost requirements, the powertrain NVH development is always challenging, thus the new process and technology have been updated for every vehicle program. This presentation will review the current Powertrain NVH development approaches in the current automotive industry, which is the most optimized and competitive engineering field.
