Electromagnetic forces were well known as the left hand law of


Fleming. The industrial applications of these electromagnetic phenomena were developed elsewhere. Electric motor and loudspeaker were typical application of them. In this feasibility study, it was investigated that if the electric current was supplying through a liquid jet that was placed in a magnetic field, how strong Fleming force was acted on the liquid jet. The simple experiment of the liquid jet showed that electromagnetic force could shorten the breakup length of the laminar liquid jet.
