MASc and PhD positions
There are multiple positions available for fully-funded MASc and PhD students.
These positions come with a competitive funding package.
Candidate(s) with strong analytical skills and relevant experience must meet one or more of the
following.
- Completed, or near completion of a Master's Degree for a PhD position or an Undergraduate
Degree for a MASc position in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science. All
candidates must have strong GPAs in their completed or expected degrees.
- Experience in finite element methods using ANSYS and Abaqus software packages
- Be proficient in programming with Python, Matlab and/or Fortran.
- Have a good understanding of fatigue and fracture mechanics in materials
- Have general knowledge of peridynamics theory
- Be familiar with fundamental machine learning concepts.
- Good understanding of solid mechanics.
